This Privacy Policy explains how Scale Annuities LLC ("Scale Annuities," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit this website, respond to our advertising, book a call, or receive a message from us. By using this website or our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

Scale Annuities provides marketing and client acquisition services to independent annuity and insurance advisors. We do not sell insurance or annuity products, and we do not provide financial, insurance, tax or legal advice to consumers.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, job title and website, when you book a call, fill in a form, reply to a message, or submit a lead form (including forms on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, or Google).
  • Business information you choose to share, such as monthly revenue, cost per lead, show-up rate, average case size and details of your current marketing.
  • Content you provide for our services, such as photos, video and voice recordings used, with your written consent, to create AI-generated likeness ("AI clone") content for your advertising.
  • Communications with us, including emails, messages, call notes and meeting recordings where you have been told the call is recorded.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Information from cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, and Google Analytics. See section 5.

Information from other sources

  • Advertising platforms (Meta and Google) when you interact with our ads or submit a lead form on their platforms.
  • Publicly available business information, such as professional listings, company websites, business directories, professional networking profiles and licensing databases, which we may use to identify advisors who may be interested in our services (see section 6).
  • Scheduling, email and CRM providers we use to run our business.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule and hold your funnel review and to provide the services you ask for.
  • To communicate with you about your inquiry, appointment reminders and follow-up.
  • To send marketing messages about our services, where permitted by law and subject to your right to opt out.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, including building audiences and measuring conversions on Meta and Google.
  • To operate, secure, analyze and improve this website.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and protect our rights.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf, such as hosting, scheduling, CRM, email and SMS delivery, video conferencing, analytics and payment providers, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
  • Advertising platforms. We share limited, hashed or event data with Meta and Google to measure ad performance and to show relevant ads (see section 5).
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Scale Annuities, our clients or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

5. Cookies, Pixels and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to run this website, understand how it is used, and measure and personalize advertising.

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, which may collect information about your visit and actions on this site so Meta can measure our ads and show ads to people who may be interested in our services, including through Custom Audiences. Meta processes this information under its own Privacy Policy. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Meta ad settings.
  • Google. We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and Google Analytics, which use cookies to measure ad performance and show our ads to past visitors across Google and partner sites.   • Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising.

6. Business Outreach (Email, Calls and Messages)

We may contact annuity and insurance professionals about our services using business contact details that were provided to us or are publicly available. When we do:

  • Email. Our commercial emails identify Scale Annuities as the sender, use accurate subject lines, include our physical mailing address, and include a clear way to unsubscribe. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act. Where the laws of your country (such as Canada's CASL or the UK and EU GDPR and PECR) require consent or a legitimate-interest basis, we follow them.
  • Calls and text messages. We only place marketing calls or send marketing text messages, including those using automated technology or prerecorded or artificial voice, where we have the consent required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws, and we respect the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal do-not-call list. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Opting out. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message, clicking unsubscribe, or emailing contact@scaleannuities.com. We will add you to our suppression list so you are not contacted again.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA), other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (GDPR), you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising, and of profiling.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email contact@scaleannuities.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. Where GDPR applies, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (such as business-to-business outreach and improving our services) and legal obligations as our legal bases.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, for example for the length of our relationship and a reasonable period afterward, or as required by law. Opt-out and suppression records are kept so we can honor your request.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children

This website and our services are intended for business professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Third-Party Links

This site may link to other websites and services, such as scheduling tools and social platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
